Jack A. Falk, 88 years old, of Warwick, RI retired Government Relations Director in the consumer finance industry, died on April 2, 2020 peacefully at his home. He was the husband of Joyce (Muller) Falk. They had been married for 66 years.

Born in Rochester, NY, the son of the late August and Elsie (Carl) Falk, he had lived in Warwick since 1966. Jack was a 1949 graduate of Edison Technical & Industrial High School in Rochester and attended the University of Rochester. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Army. Mr. Falk began his career in consumer finance in 1954 in Rochester and was promoted several times with his last position being Government Relations Director of Rhode Island, Connecticut and Vermont until he retired in 1985. After his retirement, he worked as a consultant/advisor from 1985 to 1993 for Bay Loan and Investment Bank. He was active in the state consumer finance associations in RI, CT and VT serving at times as an Officer or Director. Mr. Falk was a member of Edgewood Congregational Church since 1966. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees and later as Treasurer and Senior Deacon. He was also active with the RI Conference of the United Church of Christ on various committees and as Conference Treasurer.

Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Timothy A. Falk of Coventry, RI and a daughter, Amy S. Falk (married to David Felker) of Newtown, PA; five grandchildren: Tammi Provencal, Ashley Falk and Andrew, Jacqueline and Elise Felker; three great-grandchildren: Allison and Danielle Provencal and Riley Falk.

The family would like to thank VNA of Care New England – Hospice Care for their devotion and wonderful care, especially Veronique, Sabrina, Eileen, Danielle, Mary and Dawn. Details regarding a celebration of Jack’s life will be shared at a later date.
