John F. Brodeur, age 94, of Warwick, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. He was known for his love of watches, beer and a good cigar.
John was born on April 12,1928 in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a son of the late Henry Brodeur and beloved mother Gertrude (Keane) Brodeur Cascella. He was the step-son of the late Paul Cassella, and the brother of the late Henry, Philip and James Brodeur.
John lived in Warwick for the last 64 years. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran. He attended Johnson & Wales Business School. Prior to retiring, he was employed at Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance and was a member of the National Association of Life Underwriters.
In addition to his wife of 72 years, Margaret L. (Tucci) Brodeur, he is survived by four sons, Steven P., Gary J., John P., and Mark A., 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
His funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick. Burial with military honors was in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
