John Migliaccio

John Migliaccio, age 94, formerly of Yucatan Drive, Warwick, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Riverview Health Care Community in Coventry.  He was the husband of the late Anne Marjorie “Marge” (Costello) Migliaccio.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Domenico and Luisa (Roberto) Migliaccio, he lived in Warwick since 1963.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Memorial Post V.F.W. in Warwick.  He participated in a Veteran’s Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in 2018.

Mr. Migliaccio was employed at George Fuller and Son Manufacturing in Pawtucket before retiring 29 years ago.  He earlier worked at Bond Bakery.

He had served as a volunteer for the West Bay Community Food Bank and the annual Salvation Army Kettle Drive.

He is survived by three daughters, Paula A. Briggs of Pawcatuck, CT, Sheila B. Ryder and her husband Paul of Stoneham, MA, and Donna L. Mazzone and her husband Elmo, of West Greenwich; five grandchildren, Michael Mazzone, Julia Pudlo (Chad), David Mazzone, Alexandra Ryder, and John Ryder; a great-granddaughter, Gwendolyn Pudlo; a sister, Chiara Capraro of Cumberland; and a sister-in-law, Joyce Migliaccio of Derry, NH.

He was the brother of the late Vito and Gennaro Migliaccio, and Fortuna Falvo.

His funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 20, at 10 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick.  Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.  Burial with military honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
