Johnston Mayor Joseph M. Polisena has announced the distribution of more at-home COVID-19 test kits, according to Johnston Police.

Test kits will be distributed to Johnston residents, especially to parents and guardians with school aged children, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 12 at Johnston High School.

“We look forward to seeing Johnston residents this Saturday at our test kit distribution event at Johnston High School,” Johnston Police wrote on their Facebook page Friday. “Johnston and its representatives are committed to beating this pandemic and ensuring the health and well-being of all Johnston residents.”

This is the second drive-through Point of Distribution (POD) of free at-home virus tests Johnston has organized this year.
