Johnston Police are looking for a trio of alleged shade thieves.

Around 1:15 p.m., Nov. 8, Johnston Police responded to a local business to investigate a reported designer sunglasses theft.

Johnston Police are looking for a trio of alleged shade thieves.

Around 1:15 p.m., Nov. 8, Johnston Police responded to a local business to investigate a reported designer sunglasses theft.

According to Johnston Police, “an unknown male suspect along with two unknown female suspects entered Optx RI,” at 1277 Hartford Ave.

“While the suspects were in the store, two pairs of Cartier sunglasses were taken from a display case,” according to police. “The suspects then fled scene in a black Honda Odyssey with an unknown registration.”

Anyone with information regarding identity of the suspects is urged to contact the Johnston Police Department at 401-231-4210.
