Joseph Epifanio Gallucci, 85, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph L. and Angelina (Angiolilli) Gallucci. He was the loving husband of the late Maryann (Ionata) Ferruccio-Gallucci.

Joseph was a graduate of Lockwood High School and served as Co-Captain of High School Sports. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island and afterwards proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard, completing his service as a Lieutenant Colonel. He went on to work as the Regional Marketing Manager for ITT General Controls for thirty-five years. An active participant in Democrat Politics, Joseph served on the Warwick City Council and as Director of Elections in Warwick for sixteen years. He also served as the State of Rhode Island Liquor Control Commissioner and the Manager/President of the Continental Little League for fifteen years. He cared deeply for his pets, “Mikki”, “Micki” and “Sami”, whom he adored.

He is survived by his beloved children, Frank J. Gallucci and his wife Ruth of South Kingstown, Joseph M. Gallucci, PPD and his wife Rosamaria of Cranston, Michael A. Ferruccio, RISP and his wife Jennifer of Warwick, his brother, Raymond E. Gallucci and his wife Carol of Warwick, and four grandchildren, Francesca Gallucci-Jenkins, Maria Gallucci, Joanna Gallucci, and Joseph A. Gallucci.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, 820 Providence Street, West Warwick. Due to COVID 19, Health and Safety Regulations were in effect. Interment was private. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
