Gamm Theatre’s “The Beard of Avon” was a “bawdy good time.” Directed by Tony Estrella, it starred Steve Kidd as Shakespeare and Casey Seymore as his wife Kim.
Cranston’s Curious Cabaret was at the Artists’ Exchange and featured comedian Frank O’Donnell and performance artist Adam Gertsacov.
Russell Crowe starred as boxer James J. Braddock in “The Cinderella Man.”
Christian Bale was Batman this time around in “Batman Begins.”
“The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” was a popular summer movie.
The Fowlers celebrated their granddaughters’ birthdays at Wright’s Farm, a tradition we have continued every year. The meal hasn’t changed (chicken, pasta, salad, french fries and rolls), but the price has doubled.
