Conrad M. Kochevar, 81, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the husband of the late Carol J. (Robinson) Kochevar. Born in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Walter and Frances (Maljevac) Kochevar. Conrad was the beloved brother-in-law of Linda Adamonis (Joseph), uncle of Joseph C. Adamonis, Debra J. Baisch (Dewitte), and Lynn K. Burns (Joseph), great-uncle of Daniel W. Burns and Sarah R. Burns.
Conrad was a reliability engineer for ITT in Clifton, NJ before retiring in 2008. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, serving on the USS Essex from 1962-1965. Conrad was a member of the American Legion Williams Shields Post 43 in Warwick, the Deutscher Club of Clark, NJ, and the Manville Gun Club.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, Warwick. He will be laid to rest with his wife in Pawtuxet Memorial Park with military honors.
