AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE I OF THE CITY OF WARWICK CODE OF ORDINANCES
Be it ordained by the City of Warwick:
Section I. Chapter 2, Article I, of the City of Warwick Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by adding subsection 2-35 as follows:

2-35. – City Council Office Space.
The City Council shall be provided office space, which is no less than 400 square feet in size. This space shall be located in the same building as the offices of the Tax Assessor, Tax Collector and Building Department. The office space shall consist of at least two (2) connected office suites: one (1) to be designated to the Council Liaison and one (1) to be designated for Council member use as a conference room.
Keys for these office spaces shall be issued to all Council members, the Council Liaison, and one (1) person assigned to maintenance or cleaning. A key to the main building and an alarm code shall also be provided to all Council members and the Council Liaison.
The office space shall be furnished with furniture as necessary to perform the duties charged to the City Council and Council Liaison. The costs for maintaining and furnishing these spaces shall be derived from the City’s General Fund.
Section II. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
