Leona Gertrude (Benoit) Patnaude, 96, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Born in Flint, Michigan, she was one of seven children of the late Benoni and Delty (Delage) Benoit of Pawtucket. She was the loving wife of the late George J. Patnaude.

Leona worked as a Gift Wrapper for the former Outlet Company in Garden City, Cranston. She was a communicant of St. Clement Church in Warwick and was a member of the Pilgrim Senior Center. Leona enjoyed playing Hi-Low-Jack, breakfast gatherings at Buttonwoods Fish & Chips.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Linda L. Lynch of Warwick and Brenda L. Coppins and her husband Robert of Bassett, VA, three grandchildren: Laurie Charpentier and her husband Mark, Lisa Pietros, and Kerri Larsson, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Roland, Dorothy, Loretta, Luciele, Alice, and Anita.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Ln., Warwick.

Visitation was held in church prior to the Mass from 9-10 a.m.. Interment followed at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Due to COVID 19, Health and Safety Regulations will be in effect.

Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
