To the Editor:

IF: everyone who should get vaccinated would do so, then we could all begin to safely move forward. It is free and it is safe. Let us practice our various faiths and show LOVE for each other by getting vaccinated. We will save our children by doing so and also protect our medical professionals who need us to cooperate. GO GET YOUR SHOT NOW!

IF: everyone would wear a mask at school, at work or out in public, we would all feel safer. We all know that the BIBLE says LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF. No one’s afraid of a mask now, are they?

IF: we truly believe in and support our local retail, restaurants and workplaces, then we will easily wear a mask, keep some distance and keep each other safe. No one wants to be sick or die and no one should lose their business or income due to selfishness. It is so simple. We can all be caring citizens in a pandemic of epic proportions. Let us all work together so that all of our businesses can reopen safely and fully.

IF: people of faith would honestly and truly follow the tenets and teachings of all our various religions, then we would be at peace and not be in the mess we find ourselves in.

Start with the TEN COMMANDMENTS … Thou shall not kill. (that means we shall not kill with weapons or viruses.) You shall have no other gods before me. (that means we don’t worship politicians, celebrities, athletes, etc.) We would especially be wary of following anyone who commits adultery, lies, steals, cheats, is greedy, murders, gives false testimony and who encourages violence and conspiracies.

WHAT WOULD JESUS SAY?

IF: only men would stop being so scared and insecure, believing that they only have power if they can suppress voting rights, women’s health rights, mask and vaccine mandates and a myriad of other issues; then maybe they would act like the men GOD created them to be: kind, honest and loving. They certainly wouldn’t have time for treason, insurrections and attacks on the Capital or other gatherings. Maybe they would have time to volunteer with the RED CROSS? OR A FOOD PANTRY? OR A COMMITTEE AT THEIR CHURCH OR TEMPLE?

You’re not afraid to think and change and do the right thing now, are you?

IF: we believe in the our CONSTITUTION, THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE, and THE BILL OF RIGHTS, then we will use all strength and ability to support and protect our country by standing up for TRUTH, HONESTY AND LIBERTY FOR ALL. Liberty is not just for people who are white … it is for everyone. But, misinformation, lies and conspiracies steal everyone’s freedom. This has to stop. The unvaccinated who cry “that the virus is a hoax” are standing in the way of progress and freedom. It is a choice but then stay home and stay away from the rest of us. We are all doing everything we can do to live and we would like to have 100% cooperation from our neighbors. We should all be working together.

No one should have to die from a virus because a family member or a friend makes poor choices. Sadly, the unvaccinated are overflowing our hospitals and stressing out the staff. Please get vaccinated and live.

It is a fact that the delta variant is fiercely wicked and dangerous. If you die from delta, then your family will be sad and your candidate loses a voter. Please get vaccinated so that you can live and vote. I plan to vote safely again by getting my ballot in the mail and then dropping it in a drop box at Town Hall. No one will take my right to vote away. It is interesting that in the last election, the winning side had 81 million votes and the other side only had 74 million votes. Ask any grade school student which number is bigger? Math doesn’t lie. 81 is bigger than 74. The group which had the smaller number of votes should be gracious, accept the loss and go quietly about their lives so that we can rebuild the country, save the environment and save our children’s futures. Stop the lies, stop the noise. WE ARE AMERI-CANS … Remember, ALL GOD’S CHILDREN HAVE A PLACE IN THE CHOIR. Let us work together to keep our children safely in school, families working and not evicted from their homes.

We are all willing to work together, right?

Let us go forward and live in peace. If not us, then who? If not now, when?
