Horst Karl Lichtenberger, 88, passed away Friday, April 14, 2023 in Brentwood Nursing Home in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Irngard L. (Karst) Lichtenberger. Horst was born in Pforzhein, Germany; he was the son of the late Ernest and Maria (Renz) Lichtenberger. Horst was a toolmaker for 32 years for the former Emperial Knife Company in Providence until retiring. He was the father of Bernard E. Lichtenberger, brother of Jurger Lichtenberger and Karin Kraft.
A Catholic prayer service will be held Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private.
