Thrive Behavioral Health recently welcomed Linda Ann Morales as its new Human Resources Director.

She brings over 25 years of human resources and occupational health and safety expertise and has worked in the nonprofit sector for seven years. Linda Ann has served as a committee or board member for several nonprofit organizations including Middlesex United Way, where she was honored by its Community Service Award in recognition of her impactful work to make its community a better place to live.

Morales was awarded an MS in Industrial Relations and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of New Haven. She received her Occupational Health and Safety Certificate from University of Connecticut and is a national member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Morales' candidacy for the position was highly endorsed by Scott Seaback, President of RI Temps/RI Personnel and Programs/Professional Development Director of RI SHRM. "When I learned Thrive was hiring a new HR Director, I knew Linda Ann would be the perfect fit," said Seaback. "She is a talented, dedicated leader who excels at motivating those around her." "I believe Linda Ann to be a dedicated and compassionate HR professional who leads by example," said Daniel Kubas-Meyer, President and CEO of Thrive Behavioral Health. "She projects self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm. I am confident she will help Thrive reach its goal of becoming the employer of choice among Rhode Islanders."

Morales will oversee the human resources requirements of Thrive's 300 employees while helping it reach its initiative to become a more diverse agency.

Thrive is one of three nationally Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) in Rhode Island. CCBHCs were created through the "Excellence in Mental Health and Addiction Act" as an initiative to expand access to behavioral healthcare in America.
