Lorene Joyclyn (Glahn) Ehret, 94, of Warwick, passed away at home on Monday, August 16, 2021. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Viola (Burton) Glahan. She was the loving wife of the late Robert I. Ehret.
A graduate of Bryant University, Lorene worked as a secretary for many years before raising her family. She was a communicant of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Warwick and a longtime communicant of the former Church of the Resurrection. She was also a devoted volunteer at the Rhode Island Family Shelter and at Warwick VOWS. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, bowling, cooking, and traveling. She especially loved music and was a member of the West Bay Civic Chorale for over 30 years.
She is survived by her beloved children, Keith R. Ehret of Warwick, and Cheryl A. Zecchin of Cranston, four granddaughters, and eleven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Janice Wallace.
Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 111 W Shore Road, Warwick.
