Luann I. Cole, 66, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late William D. Cole. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Sheila (Gilchrist) Carter.
Luann was a math editor for the American Mathematical Society.
She was the beloved mother of Elle Eckert and Adam Cole; sister of Kevin Carter and Kathleen Farman; grandmother of Haley Cole, Aaron Cole, Kelsea Cafferty, Daphne Eckert and Savannah Carey and was excited to be expecting her first great-grandchild. Luann was the mother of the late Jessica L. Cole and sister of the late David Carter.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private. Visiting hours, Thursday 4-7 p.m. Family request that facemasks and social distancing be followed.
