Lynn C. Bannon

Lynn C. (Crecelius) Bannon, 68, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday October 2, 2021.

She was born in Warwick, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Dorothea (O’Brien) Crecelius.

Lynn was a Parole and Probation Officer, for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Corrections, at the Kent County Court House for 40 years before retiring. She has lived in East Greenwich for 50 years coming from Warwick. Lynn was an animal lover, who rescued German Shepherds and Black Labs form the shelters. She enjoyed spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.

Lynn is survived by her children Julia Keach and husband Robert of Coventry, Michael D. and Michaela Bannon of Warwick, Connor R. Bannon of East Greenwich and Jennifer D. Bannon of Denver, Colorado. She was the sister of Gail Longpre of Suffolk Virginia. Lynn was the grandmother of Liana S. Bannon, Kenley Q. Bannon and Owen D. Bannon all of Warwick.

Visiting hours for Lynn will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in The Urquhart–Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
