Marie C. (Magee) Gremour

Marie C. (Magee) Gremour, age 92, formerly of Proctor Avenue, Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at the West Shore Health Center.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late George S. and Ellen A. (Fanning) Magee, she was a life-long Warwick resident. Mrs. Gremour was employed as a bus monitor for the Warwick School Department before her retirement. Earlier in her life, she worked as a secretary at St. Joseph Hospital in Providence.

She was a member, past president, and past treasurer of the Lakewood Ladies Auxiliary of Robert T. Johnson Post # 183, Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She is survived by three daughters and three sons, Colleen Boffa of Attleboro, MA, Roberta Gremour of Charlestown, George “Rusty” Gremour of Warwick, Victoria Kelly of Warwick, Timothy Gremour of Warwick, and David Gremour of Coventry; two brothers, Kenneth F. Magee of Warwick and Robert F. Magee of Brooklyn, NY; fifteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ann McLaughlin, Dolores McMurray, Helayne Carlson, Samuel Magee, Thomas Magee and Jerome Magee.

The family would like to express a sincere thank-you to the staff of the West Shore Health Center for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Gremour.

Her funeral services and burial were private.
