Marie (Leone) Clavin, age 88, formerly of Commodore Avenue, Warwick, died peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Greenville Center.
Born in Providence to loving parents Nicholas and Celia (Buonafiglia) Leone, Marie married Joseph M. Clavin in 1955 and was a resident of Warwick for 65 years. In 2018 she moved to assisted living at the Village at Waterman Lake in Greenville. Marie was a long-time employee of General Electric Mono-Watt Division. Marie loved family gatherings and holidays, traveling with Joe, and summers at Matunuck.
She was the devoted sister of Richard P. Leone Sr., Nicholas S. Leone and the late Louise Uciferro and aunt of several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and a grandnephew.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday, January 30 at 10 a.m. from Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 9-10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
