Martha G. (Geary) Malarkey, 96, of Fullerton, CA, formerly of Warwick, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. She was the wife of the late James R. J. Malarkey, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (O’Toole) Geary.
Martha was the beloved mother of Theresa Taylor, James Malarkey, Jr., Thomas Malarkey, and the late Kevin Malarkey: grandmother of thirteen, great-grandmother of fourteen, and great-great-grandmother of two. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Catherine Johnson, Sarah Barton, Thomas Geary, and Rose Randle.
Visiting hours Tuesday, March 2 from 4-7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Avenue. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Facemasks are required and social distancing will be observed.
