MetLife Auto & Home sponsors room at Ronald McDonald House

MetLife Auto & Home has sponsored one of the Ronald McDonald House of Providence 28 bedrooms through a $10,000 Premier Adopt a Room sponsorship.

The MetLife Auto & Home sponsorship will have a direct impact on the families who call the newly sponsored room, “home ”while their child receives much needed medical care at one of our local hospitals. The funds received through this sponsorship will help underwrite costs associated with each family’s stay throughout the year, providing all the care, comfort and support they need to focus on their child ’s care.

“We are so thankful to the unwavering commitment we receive from MetLife. In addition to the Adopt a Room sponsorship and the support from the annual MetLife Scramble for Charity Golf Tournament, MetLife employees volunteer at the House regularly, are involved on event committees, and provide in-kind printing services throughout the year,” said Michael Fantom, CEO, RMH Providence.

“MetLife’s partnership with the House and dedication to the families at RMH Providence is truly remarkable.”

The recently renovated RMH Providence is the only organization in the state to provide a home for families of critically ill children. Now offering 28 bedrooms, the House ’s proximity to Women & Infants’, Hasbro Children’s and Rhode Island Hospitals keeps families within walking distance to their child ’s hospital bed which brings a much needed level of comfort to families staying at the House.

“We are happy to once again support the Ronald McDonald House of Providence,” said Darla Finchum, vice president, MetLife Auto &Home. “We share the RMH goal of supporting families and loved ones during some of the most difficult times of their lives.”
