Mildred L. Holmes, 90, died Monday, December 19, 2022. She was the wife of the late Walter F. Holmes, Jr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William W. and Hazel M. (Kingston) Walker. Mildred had held various part time jobs throughout her life but her primary focus was on her family. She was a member of the Shawomet Baptist Church for many years. She was the loving mother of Walter F. Holmes, III, and Jeffrey R. Holmes. She also leaves 2 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother William W. Walker, Jr.
Her funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.
