Nancy L. Mottola (Capalbo), 90, of Warwick passed away peacefully on Sunday April 9th at her home surrounded by her family.   She was the wife of the late Nicholas Mottola.

Born in Bradford, RI she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Christina (Terranova) Capalbo. A Warwick resident for the past 62 years, Mrs. Mottola was a secretary for Malo,  Recchia & Company, CPAs  for over twenty-five years and later for Dittmar, McNeil, and Ferolito,  CPAs for fifteen years and then Dittmar, McNeil and Varone, CPAs  for a few years before retiring in 2020. She was a member of the Saint Peter Church Woman’s Club and the Red Hat Society.

She leaves two daughters, Diana Russo and her husband  Anthony of Warwick, Lori DesVergnes and her husband Donald of Attleboro, Massachusetts. Four grandchildren, Nikki Russo and her husband  Wil, Marc Russo, Anthony Russo and Christina DesVergnes. She was the sister of Mary Stellitano of Westerly, Elizabeth Gervasini of Bradford and Louis Capalbo of North Carolina, the late Margaret Burdick, Joseph D. Capalbo, Susan Stefanski and Major General John H. Capalbo.  

 Her funeral will be held Saturday April 15th at 9:00 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick at 10:00 AM.
