Nancy A. Zinkiewicz, 83, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Zinkiewicz. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Esther E. (Horgan) Dean. Nancy was employed with the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training in the Worker’s Compensation Division. After her retirement, she worked at Bif Industries and the RI Association of the Blind. She had served on the Board of Directors of the AFSME, AFL-CLO Local 2869 and was a past President of the Narragansett Village Condo Association. She was a communicant of St. Peter Church in Warwick and was a member of RSVP, the Holy Name School Alumni Association, and was a volunteer at the Pilgrim Senior Center. She is survived by her brother Dennis H. Dean and his wife Joann, sister-in-law Jane Dean, and is predeceased by her brother Joseph J. Dean Jr. She was also the aunt of Jeffrey, Kristen, and Nathan Dean, and great-aunt of Joshua, Ryan, Matthew, and Adler Dean. Nancy is also predeceased by her uncle Reverend Joseph E. Horgan, JD.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:30am in St. Peter Church, Fair St, Warwick. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions to Hope Hospice.
