T’was the night before Christmas,
From Cranston to Warwick Neck,
The residents were so happy.
Our taxes were held in check.
Mayor Picozzi was reelected.
He said he’d stay the course.
His opponents were destroyed.
They just didn’t have the force.
I started the Picozzi Fan Club.
As a way to joke with him.
Then a lady said she was his number-one fan.
It was his lovely wife Kim.
There were signs on every lawn.
Not a pole was left blank.
They were flush, plum and level.
They were installed, of course, by “Frank.”
He’s a do-it-yourself mayor.
He doesn’t waste even a nickel.
If Washington did things the Picozzi way.
We wouldn’t be in this economic pickle.
He won’t raise taxes.
He won’t overspend.
He loves our city.
He’s the Taxpayers Friend.
