The Warwick North 11-year-old All-Star team was eliminated by Narragansett on Monday evening, as it fell 11-2. North fell in it’s first game of the tournament in a 7-0 loss to Coventry on Sunday. “I was happy that we were able to provide several new players the opportunity to play baseball at this level, having added seven new players to the team from last year’s squad,” said North manager Tom Doyle, who also coached Savage & Savage to its second consecutive Warwick North Majors title in June. “They worked hard for more than two weeks, practicing on a daily basis to learn the game and improve their skills,” said Doyle, who also thanked the parents that have been involved in both the regular season as well as the All-Star tournament. “I value the continued support from our parents and all the members of the league who came out to provide a positive environment for our players.” Members of the Warwick North 11-year-old All-Star team included: Michael Mainelli, Michael Bryson, Dom Berry, Paul Doyle, Tyler Hance, John Wasilewski, Max Wiggins, Jacob Pettit, Devan Maloney, Logan Greenslade, Cole Menning, Matthew Kenney, Javier Lugo. Coaches included Manager Tom Doyle, and assistants Erik Bryson and Tom Doyle Sr.
