To the Editor,
So the school department finally admits what I along with Rob Cote, Bob Cushman and others have been telling them for the last 2 years.
Some people don’t want to listen because they can’t put their dislike for certain individuals aside and listen to the message. It’s not about the delivery it’s about the message.
This is a terrible situation that was totally avoidable if elected officials on both sides would have done their due diligence, admitted to themselves that this pie in the sky dream wasn’t realistic or attainable and listened to common sense.
People need to set aside their dislike for knowledgeable, experienced people like Rob Cote who knows more about building these types of buildings than any elected official I know and does so for a living, as well as Bob Cushman whose numbers I have more confidence in, than the City & School Department numbers we receive.
Let’s not forget about the 5 year financial forecasts we receive where the public is denied the right to ask questions on the record and in public.
