The turnout was heavy Wednesday night at Mayor Frank Picozzi’s fundraiser at Chelo’s on Post Road. Among the attendees were former Warwick Mayor Joseph Walsh, North Providence Mayor Charles Lombardi, Speaker of the House K. Joseph Shekarchi, state legislators, members of the City Council and city department directors and employees. Here the mayor welcomes former chair of the Warwick School Committee John Thompson and his wife, Patty, to the event. According to the latest campaign finance report, which does not include proceeds from the event, Picozzi’s campaign war chest stood at $57,163.95 as of the Dec. 31, 2022 report. (Warwick Beacon photo)
