Patrick E. Moran, age 31, of 25 Ingersoll Ave, a lifelong resident of Warwick passed away unexpectedly at Kent Hospital on Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born in Newport, the beloved son of Colleen Bacon and the late Daniel R. Moran.

He loved playing soccer and basketball for the Boys and Girls Club of Warwick and Soccer for the Warwick Firefighters Association for many years. Patrick graduated from Tollgate High School where he attended the Warwick Vocational Technical Program in Graphic Arts. Patrick enjoyed drawing, watching videos, reading graphic novels while also working creating his own graphic novel, and listening to music. He loved spending time with family and friends. Patrick always wanted to give back to the community. He volunteered at Special Olympics, Brentwood Nursing Home, and at Kent Hospital for nine years. His smile, compassion, and kindness for others will never be forgotten by all those he touched. Even in death, he continued to give; requesting to be an organ donor.

Patrick would complete every social interaction with “Have good days and good nights.” This would be his wish for all of us during these challenging times.

He leaves two brothers, Tyler and Ryan Moran, both of Warwick. He is the grandson of Nancy (Lomax) Bacon of Cranston. He is predeceased by his grandparents, John “Jack” Bacon of Providence as well as Jean and Edward Moran of Providence.

Due to COVID 19, his Funeral Services will be private. His final resting place will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, RI. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date when COVID restrictions are lifted and it is safe to gather.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave, Warwick.
