Allan G. Paynich, 75, of Warwick, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024. Born in Phoenix, AZ., he was the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Jones) Paynich. He was the father of Tamara Rose, Margaret Goldman, and Nicole Paynich; stepfather of Bridget Lesperance; and grandfather of Matthew, Charlie, and Sarah.
Allan was a United States Army combat veteran who served in Vietnam. A graduate of Pima Community College, he worked throughout the southwest in mines and as an oilfield roustabout. He later became a facilities designer which combined his artistic talent and penchant for details. Allan enjoyed working on his motorcycle and valued the freedom he associated with it.
A private burial with Military Honors will take place at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
