Peter Holden, 74, of Annapolis, Maryland and Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. He was the husband of the late Janice J. Holden, born in Pawtucket and son of Evelyn and Edwin Holden of Narragansett. Peter was the Executive Director at The Arc of Blackstone Valley for over 20 years, an avid sailor, a beloved father, grandfather and friend.
Peter is survived by his loving children, Tevor Holden and his wife Bridget Holden of Warwick, grandchildren, Wyatt, Helen and Leo as well as his son Jeffrey Holden and wife Jessica Holden of Newport, and grandson Jackson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Rhode Island Yacht Club, 1 Ocean Ave, Cranston, RI 02905. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sail Newport, 72 Fort Adams Dr, Newport, RI 02840 or Save the Bay, 100 Save The Bay Drive, Providence, RI 02905.
