PETITION TO FORECLOSE TAX LIEN

    TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and to:  ESTATE OF ANITA MARIE WATERMAN, its unknown or unascertained heirs-at-law, RI DIVISION OF TAXATION

    Whereas, an amended petition has been presented to said Court by Island Flippers, LLC in the County of Kent and said State, to foreclose all rights of redemption from the tax lien proceedings described in said amended petition in and concerning a certain parcel of land situate in the County of Kent and in said State, bounded and described in said petition as follows:

    That certain lot or parcel of land with all the buildings and improvements thereon situated at 0 Channing Street in the City of Warwick, County of Kent State of Rhode Island laid out and designated as Warwick Tax Assessors Parcel ID: 379-0351-0000.

Three certain lots or parcels of land, together with any and all buildings and improvements thereon, the same being lots numbered thirty (38) eight, thirty (39) nine and forty (40) on that plat designated and described as follows: “Warwick Neck Park Plat No. 1 Warwick, Rhode Island belonging to the Warwick Neck Building Company by Shedd & Sarle, July 1895” which said plat is now on file in the City Clerk’s Office in the City of Warwick, State of Rhode Island.

    If you desire to make any objection or response to said petition you or your attorney must file a written appearance and answer, under oath, setting forth clearly and specifically your objections or defense to each part of said petition, in the office of the Superior Court in Warwick on or before  October 2, 2024, that you may then and there show cause, if any, why the prayer of the petition should not be granted.

    Unless your appearance is filed by or for you, your default will be recorded, the said petition will be taken as confessed and you will be forever barred from contesting said petition or any decree entered thereon.  And in addition to the usual service of this notice as required by law, it is ordered that the foregoing citation be published forthwith once each week for three successive weeks in the Warwick Beacon a newspaper published in said City of Warwick and County of Kent State of Rhode Island on August 29, September5, and September 12, 2024.
