Joan M. Graichen, 60, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020. She was the wife of the late Joseph E. Graichen.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward P. and Joan G. (Braga) Nickerson. Joan was formerly employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the Coventry Health Center.
She leaves her beloved daughter, Jessie L. Graichen and her fiancé Bobby Fortin, and was the mother of the late Mark E. Nickerson. She was the devoted grandmother of Yasmine Nickerson and Maddison Fortin, and sister of John Braga, Deborah Gard, Cherie Nickerson, Michael Nickerson, Bill Nickerson, the late Edward Nickerson, and Kathleen Quaranta. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Laurin Nickerson who she had a special friendship with, Sherry Broomfield, Justin Gard, Kristen Gard, and Nicole Nickerson.
Her funeral service will be private.
