DUI
On Jan. 14 at 1:39 a.m., a Warwick police officer noticed a car come to a complete stop at a green light on Warwick Avenue. Following that, the officer reportedly observed the car accelerate to 50 mph in an area with a 25-mph speed limit and crossing the white lines along the road’s shoulder, after which he initiated a traffic stop.
The driver, 28-year-old Jade Walker of Worcester, told the officer that she had consumed one Sex on the Beach cocktail and also had smoked marijuana. Walker would later tell the officer that she also had an espresso martini that night.
Smelling alcohol on her breath, the officer initiated a field sobriety test. After failing the field sobriety test, Walker was arrested and charged with DUI. The officer deemed her “uncooperative,” noting that she was screaming at him in the car all the way to the police station, and she refused to take a breath test.

Both were arrested and charged with shoplifting.
