STABBING

On March 23, 2025, at about  5:20 p.m., officers of the Warwick Police Department responded to 40 Nash Ave. for a reported disturbance between two adults who were fighting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 53-year-old male victim who had suffered a severe slash wound to his neck. The suspect, identified as 51-year-old Keith Dimuccio, was located on-scene and taken into police custody.

The Warwick Fire Department was summoned to the scene to treat the victim, and ultimately took  the victim to Rhode Island Hospital for additional treatment for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Although there is no additional danger to the public, this investigation continues.

DUI

On Feb. 19 at 11:52 p.m., the WPD received a call about a wrong-way driver on Narragansett Parkway. An officer quickly located and stopped the driver.

The driver, identified as 34-year-old Pablo Rosendo of Providence, reportedly had “severely slurred” speech, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. He told officers that he had been returning home from Basta, and said that he had had three drinks while there.

Before beginning a field sobriety test, Rosendo informed the officer on scene that he needed to urinate. After being told that he would need to hold it in, as there were no nearby bathrooms, Rosendo reportedly began peeing over himself and his truck, reportedly nearly falling over and using the truck for balance while doing so.

After failing the field sobriety test, Rosendo was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. While at the police station, he took a breath test, which measured his blood alcohol content at .227.

DUI

On Feb. 21 at 9:18 p.m., WPD officers responded to a report of a highly intoxicated man leaving BJ’s Brewhouse on Bald Hill Road and getting in his truck. Officers found the truck on East Avenue, crossing over the double yellow lines multiple times and nearly striking the curb.

The driver, identified as 46-year-old Lucas Davis of Coventry, initially did not respond to the officers, and seemed confused by their requests. Reportedly, when he did talk, his speech was slurred and slow, and he told officers following his arrest that he had had two beers and three shots that night.

Davis refused to take field sobriety tests, leading to his arrest on suspicion of DUI. While at the station, he initially agreed to take a breath test before becoming argumentative, telling officers that he first wanted to tell them “a six-minute story about his life.” After the officers refused, he told them they were being unfair and refused to take the test.

DUI

On Feb. 15 at 2:32 a.m., a WPD officer noticed a car in the parking lot of The Greenwood Inn parked next to an upright alcoholic beverage on the ground. As the car began to drive away, the officer conducted a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as 42-year-old Norberto Perez of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, reportedly was unsteady on his feet and smelled of alcohol. He told officers that he was picking up his two friends, who were passengers in the vehicle, and driving them home, and claimed that the last time he had had a drink was nearly 12 hours earlier.

Perez failed the field sobriety tests given to him by the officers, and was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence. He refused to take a breath test at the police station.
