Racist and sadistic policies

To the Editor:
Have you heard about the Trump Administration’s latest cruelty against immigrants? One hundred thousand immigrant families with “mixed status” (regarding citizenship) could be evicted. That includes more than 55,000 children who are U.S. citizens or have legal status. They could all be forced into homelessness!
The Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless states, “While the Department of Housing and Urban Development argues their proposed rule is needed to address long wait lists for housing assistance, HUD’s own analysis shows that the proposed rule will result in fewer families receiving federal housing benefits.”
HUD’s proposal is appalling. This is yet another example of the Trump Administration’s racist and sadistic policies. To them I say, shame on you! Instead of scapegoating often desperate brown people for your troubles, it’s time you pencil-heads value your fellow human beings more than keeping a job in which you perpetrate evil. For God’s sake, how about dealing with your white guilt? (By the way, I am a white person).
Oh, and how about shedding your ignorance? Are you still unaware there is only one race: the human race. Check it out. It’s been a known fact for many years. Or will you continue to insist on valuing your blindness and stupidity more than becoming enlightened human beings?
Jesus spoke to such people two millennia ago. He called these teachers of the law blind guides and hypocrites. As Jesus said to them, I now say to the Trump Administration: Woe to you! You have neglected the more important matters of the law: justice, mercy and faithfulness. You blind fools!
The Rhode Island Coalition for the Homeless is making it easy for us to respond, making clear to HUD that we oppose their cruel and unjust policy proposal. Will you join the chorus of protests? If so, go to www.keep-families-together.org and add your own comments.

Yes, the immigration and Southern border issue is a very nasty situation with 500 persons seeking asylum every day, and they come famished, filthy, diseased and without papers. The very Left Rev Harry Rix has joined the chorus of reprobates who scream that President Trump is a racist and bully; it's all his fault because the Border Patrol has not provided housing, food, medical treatment, etc. He knows that only Congress and the Democrats can change the laws and that they are responsible for this horrible mess on the border. Why doesn't this Fake Christian go down to the border and invite these immigrants into his home, then he could prove that he is not the hypocrite that he has judged others to be. Show us the path, instead of spewing forth your radical hatred towards our President.

The problem at the border is NOT the president's doing. On the contrary, he has been trying to solve this problem from the time he took office, only to have Congress put up road blocks every step of the way. The likes of Rev. Rix and others on the far left should go down to the border, choose a family, take them home and have them live with you. Only then will I believe that you truly care about this situation and are not just stirring up racial hatred.
