Junior Olivia DeLuca (Providence) took home two first place finishes as the Rhode Island College women’s swimming team fell at Clark, 108-72, on Saturday afternoon.
DeLuca placed first in both the 200-yard medley relay (2:08.58) and the 500-yard freestyle (6:13.52), second in the 200-yard butterfly (2:47.34) and third in the 200-yard freestyle (2:17.72).
Junior Anna Vygoder (Lincoln, R.I.) finished first in both the 200-yard medley relay (2:08.58) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:49.79), third in the 400-yard IM (5:42.33) and fifth in the 200-yard freestyle (2:18.98).
Junior Meghan Laflamme (Smithfield, R.I.) placed first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:08.58), second in the 50-yard freestyle (27.67), third in the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.69) and fifth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:43.26).
Junior Rebecca Fyrer (Cranston, R.I.) finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (2:08.58), fourth in the 400-yard IM (6:03.38), fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (6:43.16) and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle (1:10.80).
Junior Marta Matzko (Rumford, R.I.) placed first in the 400-yard freestyle relay (5:34.81), fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke (3:33.51), fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (33.47) and seventh in the 200-yard backstroke (3:06.70).
