Rita Mae (Chartier) Tetu, age 99, formerly of Warwick RI, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022, at Brookdale South Bay surrounded by her loving family. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Maurice (Moe) A Tetu for 52 years.
Rita was a devoted mother. She is survived by her five children and their spouses; Suzanne Mastrangelo and her husband Ralph of Danielson, CT; Thomas Tetu of Saunderstown, RI; Cynthia Marchesseault and her husband Robert of North Kingstown, RI; Edward Tetu, and his wife Gloria of West Warwick, RI; Janine Twomey and her husband Gene, of Westborough, MA, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren as well as her sister-in-law Joyce. Rita was preceded in death by her brother Francis Chartier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 26th at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Rd, Kingston, RI 02881. Burial will be private. Funeral services can be viewed via livestream at: https://www.youtube.com/user/ChristtheKingVideos.
