Robert "Bob" Anderson

Robert "Bob" Anderson of Warwick died peacefully on August 9, 2022.  Our Dad loved everything about Red Sox baseball and Patriots football and was an avid fan of both.  He also loved working on his lawn, which was meticulously cared for.  He cherished any and all time spent with his family and relished all of the holidays every year because it brought the family together for food and festivities.  Christmas was a particularly special time when our dad would personally deck the house with beautiful white lights inside and out.  Summertime meant fun days at Scarborough Beach and then perhaps a trip to George's restaurant for seafood.  Dogs were very important to our dad and the 2 dogs he befriended in his retirement years were Andy and Dillon.  Dillon was a constant companion, and they would take long happy walks together at the "gravel pits" near Greenwich Ave.  One outstanding feature of our dad was his unmistakable deep voice, which certainly helped him in his long professional career in sales and marketing.  Our dad is survived by his wife Linda, their 3 children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Like so many Rhode Island stories, Bob and Linda met as teenagers while working at an Almacs grocery store.  After graduating from Bryant College, our dad married Linda Marshall in 1959 and they created their lovely forever home in Greenwood Manor in 1964.   Our father will always be missed, and he exists forever in our loving hearts and in our happy memories.

At Bob’s request all services and burial will be private.
