Robert Edward Lee, 82, of Warwick, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late George and Louise (Washuk) Lee. He was the beloved husband of Sandra A. (Nordin) Lee. The couple were married in 1958.
Robert proudly served the City of Warwick as a Firefighter for most of his life. He was a member of the Warwick Retired Firefighters Association. In his free time, he was also a member of the Block Island Tuna Fishing Club, the Pace Arrow Club, and Ducks Unlimited. In the summer, he enjoyed vacationing in Jamestown.
In addition to his wife Sandra, he is survived by his children, Todd G. Lee (Jane) of Beach, SC and Darilyn A. Gorton of Warwick, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Robert E. Lee, brother of the late Sandra Doeg, and grandfather of the late Robert W. Lee.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 11:00AM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Interment will take place at Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery
