Robert O. Fisette, 88, passed away July 8, 2021, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the cherished husband of Barbara A. Fisette (Clark), whom he loved more than words can express.
Together for 65 years, married for 62 years, they wed on June 27, 1959 in Warwick, RI. A true love story!
His two other greatest loves were his son, Todd R. Fisette and his daughter, Kerrie A. Fisette, to whom he was the most amazing dad. He was always so proud of both of them. Born in his family home in Warwick, Rhode Island on January 24, 1933, he was the beloved son of Alice Fisette (Barney) Vargas, Wilfred Fisette, step-father, John “Papa” Vargas and “grandma” Connie Palmer. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Helen and Ethel and his brother, Donald.
Other beloved family members are his daughter-in-law, Lori Fisette (Lees), sister-in-law, Jane Clark (Matley), her two children, Hilary Armstrong (Clark) and Patrick Clark and several nieces and nephews, along with his precious kitty, Missy, who he loved to spoil.
A keepsake of his cremains will be interred at the Veteran's Cemetery, in honor of his service, the rest will stay in his home with his beloved wife, lifetime companion and most trusted and best friend, Barbara.
