Rocco (Rocky) A. Sinapi of Warwick passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at RI Hospital at the age of 83. He was the loving son of the late Angelo and Nicolena (Ialongo) Sinapi and brother of the late Salvatore and Frank Sinapi.

He graduated from Cranston High School, 1954. Rocco worked at MN Cartiers & Son as a Forklift Operator. He was a member of the teamsters local 251. He was honored to have served in the Air Force Reserves. He was very proud to have been a member of the St. Barnabas Vestry. Rocco loved time with his children and spent many years involved in their activities as an Assistant Cubmaster and a Coach for Warwick Soccer and Warwick Girl’s Softball. An avid racecar enthusiast, he often attended Seekonk Speedway. His hobbies included restoring his MG and fixing up Tonka trucks for his grandchildren. If anyone needed help or advice, Rocco was the go to guy and could fix anything. He enjoyed socializing and would converse with everyone. Who would have thought that one of his best friends would be his adopted cat, Calvin. He cherished time with family and friends.

Rocco is survived by Elizabeth Sinapi, his wife of 55 years. He is the beloved father of Greenwich Firefighter Gregory Sinapi and his wife, Jennifer (Montlick) of CT; Dr. Kevin Sinapi of TX; Dr. Kerrilene Sinapi and her fiance, Matthew Pinto of NY; and Melody Esteva and her husband, Roland of VA. He was a devoted grandfather to Connor and Kayla Sinapi, Sophia and Tess Pinto, and Ashley Esteva. He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces. Wonderful memories will always live in our hearts forever.

Due to the serious need for social distancing, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Smile Train, 633 Third Avenue, 9th floor, New York, NY 10017. Family and Friends may pay their respects to Rocky on "TheQuinnFuneralHome.com”.
