Ronald J. Anderson


Ronald J. Anderson, 57, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2020. He was the beloved son of the late Ronald E. and Norma M. (Bowen) Anderson.

Ron grew up in Coventry, were he enjoyed horseback riding and riding his motorcycle. He was employed as a welder at Electric Boat for many years and later drove tractor trailer for Ocean State Job Lot. The city of Warwick proclaimed Ronald Anderson Day on October 27, 1991 for his courageous action saving an elderly woman from an apartment fire in Sparrow Point Three, Warwick. He was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School and was a talented musician and public speaker. Ron also enjoyed hunting and was a big fan of Rodney Dangerfield. He loved telling jokes and making people laugh.

He is survived by his cousin Kenneth LaForce and his wife Victoria.
