The Pilgrim girls basketball team is enjoying a bounce back season in Division III and picked up another win on Tuesday as it topped Division II Cranston East, 49-26.
Lily Hall led Pilgrim with 15 points while Maddison Belanger added nine and Madison Tuirok eight.
Middletown 43, Toll Gate 30
The Titans fell to the Islanders in a Division II battle on Tuesday evening. Addison Eddy led the way with 11 points.
BOYS HOCKEY
East Greenwich/Toll Gate 6, Cranston 1
The EG/TG boys hockey co-op is having a breakout year in Division II and extended its win streak by rolling past Cranston last weekend.
Brendan Darcey led the way with two goals while Jack Andreozzi, Garrett Carney, Jack Kiernan and Timmy Madden all scored as well. Goalie Wyatt Gelzhiser was sharp in net with 39 saves.
