The Pilgrim softball team stayed sharp in Division I as it rolled to an 18-0, three-inning win over Bay View on Monday.
Genna D’Amato led the way at the plate with four RBI, while Marin Prest, Skylar Hawes and Carli Harker all had multi-RBI performances as well.
Gretchen Dombeck and Gabriella Santiago split pitching duties for the Pats and allowed two hits, no runs and combined for five strikeouts.
Toll Gate 7, Scituate 0
The Titans bounced back after taking their first league loss by shutting out Scituate on Tuesday.
Aria Eddy drove in a pair of runs to pace the Toll Gate offense while pitcher Delaney Wilson got the complete-game win, striking out 16 batters and allowing no runs on just three hits.
BASEBALL
Prout 6, Toll Gate 1
The Crusaders rolled past Toll Gate on Tuesday.
Greg Laliberte drove in Jack Colvin for the team’s lone run. Jonah LaFauci had two hits at the plate as well.
Shane Moro and Braeden Geer combined for four strikeouts on the mound for the Titans.
Hendricken 11, Mt. Hope 1
The defending champs remained undefeated this season when they cruised past Mt. Hope.
Braeden Campbell went 1-for-3 with two RBI, and Mason Marchesseault earned the win on the mound for the Hawks.
BOYS TENNIS
Warwick 7, North Providence 0
The Warwick boys tennis co-op earned another win when it swept North Providence last week.
Cornelius Zmed earned a 6-3, 6-0 win at first singles and Parker Weldy won 6-1, 6-1 at second singles. Etienne Degos won 6-2, 6-0 at third singles and Jacob Scott won 6-0, 6-0 in the fourth spot.
Will King and Alex Marsis won at first doubles 6-1, 6-1. North Providence forfeited the second and third doubles matches.
