Russell “Russ” Lacy Jr., 59, of Cranston died peacefully in his home on May 3rd 2020 after battling COPD for many years.

He was the beloved husband of Katherine (McLeod) Lacy of 16 years. He was born in New Britain, CT, grew up in Warwick and later resided in Cranston. He is survived by his mother, Carol (Major) Lacy and the late Russell (Duke) Lacy. He was a lifelong member of IUPAT. He was a career painter for Local 195 for 30 years before retiring.

He is also survived by his loving children: Laura Lacy (fiancé Paul Watkins) of Woonsocket, Russell Lacy III (wife Amanda) of Cranston, Isabella Arnone of Warwick and step-son David Pombo of Cranston. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren whom he adored: Edward Marotta III, Hailey & Kylie Lacy, Emma Watkins and step-grandchildren Mckenna Watkins & Macyn Pombo. He is also survived by sisters: Kim Ward (Frank) of Cranston, Patricia Totten (Lowell) of Warwick, Carol Lacy and his brother Dan Lacy of Warwick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces & nephews.

Everyone who knew Russ knew the most important things in his life were his wife, family, and especially grandchildren, friends and sobriety.
