Aiming to inspire entrepreneurs

Bobby Martorelli and his friend, Maax Bert, who both started their own businesses, recently addressed the Pilgrim High class taught by Karin Greaves. Martorelli owns and operates Martorelli Property Services LLC. Bert runs Maax’d Outdoors Unlimited Inc. Greaves thought her students could relate to the young men and how they have built their landscaping and plowing businesses, not to mention finding ways to give back to the community. In the last year Martorelli has collected backpacks, filled with school supplies for elementary school students needing them and given 50 pound buckets of a salt/sand mix to Warwick families who have a family member deployed. Martorelli said the “main goal” of the visit was to get students thinking about the opportunities of running their own landscaping business and how to build a financially sound venture. He is hopeful of speaking to a Toll Gate class as well. (Warwick Beacon photo)
