This past weekend, Confreda Farms, located at 2150 Scituate Ave., held a soft opening for its Fall Festival. The festival will take place each weekend for the month of October. Hours are Fridays from 7 to 11 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
This year’s festival theme is “Rhode Island Strong.” The activities include hayrides, the Corn MAiZE, the Animal Backyard and Pumpkin Patch. Added this year will be amusements by Rockwell Amusement rides.
The hayride and Corn MAiZE run until 5 p.m. and Scary Acres will be open from 7 to 11 p.m. You can also find seasonal favorites in the deli and store.
