For years the Conimicut Village Association annual Spring Fling has raised the funds to purchase and maintain the hanging flowers, sidewalk planters, decorative banners and flags that grace the village center from May through September. And while the flowers and adornments are up, because of COVID-19 the Spring Fling was canceled. The association is now looking to replenish its reserves to pay for the flowers and has launched a GoFundMe. To make a donation go to the Conimicut Village Association website at www.conimicut.org. Here, CVA volunteers Jamie Boblitt and George Tarring help hang the flowers in the village on the Friday before Memorial Day. (Submitted photo)
