Lonnie Barham and his wife, Ginny, president of the Conimicut Village Association made the holiday transition from Conimicut Lighthouse to snow flake banners on West Shore Road this past weekend. Ginny said the village will be decorated with wreaths as it has been and the tree in Donovan Park at the intersection of Beach and West Shore Road will be lit, but there won’t be a formal lighting because of the governor’s pause aimed at containing the virus. Nonetheless, on Dec. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. holiday music will be played at the center enabling people to “stroll,” view the lights and get into the Christmas spirit. (Warwick Beacon photo)
