As has become the tradition, Mayor Frank Picozzi gave a preview of his 2021 edition of the Picozzi Family Christmas digital light show Thanksgiving evening to friends. Then the hour-long show went live Friday night and will continue nightly until New Year’s Eve. Because of pandemic distancing restrictions last year, Picozzi shortened the show to keep people in their cars and moving. This year he’s hopeful people will park and get out of their cars. And while Picozzi hasn’t used his digital wizardry to light up the exterior of City Hall, he hasn’t spared any effort to decorate his office. He opened his own wallet to buy an artificial tree, ornaments and lots decorations. He said his wife, Kim, does the tree at home so this was a new experience. The digital home show, which he alone had a hand in, at 75 Gristmill Road starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs to 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday. The show ends at 10 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays.
